Companies that want to use this system must meet specific requirements and be members of ZMPD. Once these conditions are met, the company can apply for a TIR carnet, which is then used when transporting goods across borders. A Certificate of Origin can be issued either during export planning or retrospectively after shipment, which can be important in international trade.
